Gordon Lee Bundy of Broomfield, CO passed away on April 17, 2024, at 86 years old. He was born on May 30, 1937 in Sydney, NE and was the son of Alfred and Jessie Bundy. Gordon was raised and attended schools in Sterling, CO.

Gordon enlisted in the Navy at the age of 17 and served for four years. On July 1, 1956 he married Carolyn Schuppe of Sterling, CO. The couple lived in Panama for 2 years while Gordon was in the service before returning to Sterling where Gordon pursued an associate degree at Northeastern Jr. College (NJC). He also played football at NJC.

In 1960 the couple moved to the Denver, CO area where they spent the remainder of their 67 married years. They lived in Broomfield for 52 years including the last 38 years in Gate N Green. Gordon and Carolyn were members of Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Broomfield, CO.

Gordon had a number of career pursuits including sales, real estate and as the owner of Broomfield Lumber and Broomfield Homes. Gordon enjoyed golf, travelling, family activities and reading.

Gordon in survived by his wife Carolyn; brother Robert (Marilyn) Bundy; sisters in laws Betty Harms and Delores Kingsley; nephews and nieces Alan (Stacy) Bundy, Phillip Bundy, Kenneth (Rhonda) Bundy, Cathy Bundy, Larry Moore, Rick ( Nellie) Moore, Brad (Lisa) Moore, Scott (Mary Lou) Moore, Debbie (Ted) Borer, Brian (Christy) Meehan, Brad (Kathy) Meehan, Joni (Mick) Feldhauser, Shelly Kingsley, Leslie (Tom) McGeorge; and many great nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Jessie Bundy; sister Barbara; brother in laws Lewis Moore, Walter Harms and Chuck Kingsley; father in law Alex Schuppe; and mother in law Esther Schuppe.

Memorial services are yet to be determined.
