Hope Lamson Trethewey, age 103, affectionally known as Jo, to her family and friends, passed away on May 29, 2023.
Jo was born in Washington DC to Curtice and Rita Lamson on July 19, 1919. She and her husband, J A "Jack" Trethewey settled in Loveland in 1947.
Jo's husband, Jack, preceded her in death in 1994. Her sister, Rita Reynolds and brother William Gibbons also preceded her in death.
Jo is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Farnham (Steven), Sally Moninger (William), all of Loveland and Sue Malott (Patrick) of La Junta, CO., 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews and their families.
Jo had a long life, well lived, and was respected and loved by friends and family. Throughout her life she was active in Loveland service clubs, and community projects. Her life journey also enabled her to travel the world with her husband and later with friends and family.
A family service for Jo will be held at the Loveland Burial Park where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Jack.
