   Howard E. Hill passed away in Loveland, CO at the age of 94.  He was born on a farm northwest of McCook, NE.  He was the second youngest of eight children born to Charles and Pearl Hill.  Howard married Darleen J. Frick on November 24, 1945 in Oberlin, KS.

   Howard was an auto mechanic in McCook for over 25 years mainly at Hormel Chevrolet.  He also was a gun smith for Bud & Nick’s for 10 years.  He moved to Loveland, CO in 1969 and began working for HP as an electronic technician.

   Howard was a jack of all trades.  He had an ability to fix cars and all types of electronics. He was a member of the Elks Club for over 50 years.  He enjoyed pheasant hunting in Nebraska.  As a couple they enjoyed dancing and go out with friends along with entertaining family.

   From this union, Howard and Darleen had three children.  They were married for 38 years until she passed away in 1984.  He married Marie Glaze in 1986 and they were married for 31 years until her death in 2017. 

   Along with both wives, Howard was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.  He is survived by his son, Richard G. Hill of Omaha, NE, daughter Sharon L. Berry of Marysville, WA, daughter Joan E. Kerr and husband Michael of Fort Collins, CO, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

   A service will be held at Faith Church at 2707 N. Wilson Ave., Loveland at 10:00 am Friday, Jan. 8, 2021. There will be a viewing at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021.  Interment Loveland Burial Park.  The service will be live streamed at www.faithepc.org/funeral 

   Memorial contributions can be made in Howard Hill’s name to Faith Church or National Mill Dog Rescue in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
