James Ellis McDaniel Born February 14th 1944 In Jonesboro Arkansas died on December 25th 2021 in Loveland Colorado after a long illness. 

Jim grew up in a farming family in rural Arkansas.  He served in the National Guard briefly before going to work for the National Cash Register Company. After getting married to Charlotte Crenshaw he moved to Colorado and worked for the Eastman Kodak Company in Windsor Colorado for 31 years. After retiring from Kodak he drove a school bus in Loveland and drove a haul truck for Pete Lien and Sons mining company north of Fort Collins Co. He and wife Charlotte raised two sons while remaining active in the community. He was a scout master in the Boys Scouts of America for many years. An avid Ham Radio operator (N0DNB) for most of his life he enjoyed teaching radio and electronic skills. Jim was also a proud outdoorsman spending many hours hunting, fishing, and camping in the Rocky Mountains.

He was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte McDaniel. He is survived by his two sons Jon and Doug, and his granddaughter Gillian. Services are tentatively planned for late spring or early summer 2022.
