James L. Kenneth Turner Sr. passed away at home on January, 31, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born November 23, 1943, in Miami, OK to William F. Turner & Dorothy E. Turner. They moved to Loveland, CO in 1952, where he attended Loveland Schools. James then decided to serve our country form Aug. 1964 to Aug 1968, in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He married Patricia Ann Devlin on June 16, 1966. They were married for 54 years during which time they had 4 children. Dorsey Wetzel and husband Dennis Wetzel of Seneca, MO, Patty Turner of Loveland, CO, Maudie Castaneda and husband Rick of Elkland, MO, and James Turner Jr. of Loveland, CO. He was a proud grandpa of 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

After serving in the military, he worked in construction. He then worked for the City of Loveland Water Dept, owned and operated his own house moving business in Larimer and Weld County. He worked for the labor union helping to build Building D for Hewlett Packard, and the Rawhide Power Plant, worked at Old Timers cooking mechanical separated pork for dog food plants. He also worked in maintenance for Monfort Meat Packing Plant. He owned and operated his own trash business, and he loved junking and collection old cars. He was a loving husband, a proud father, and grandfather.

He’s survived by his sister Ruth Busby and husband Dale of Loveland, CO, and many nieces and nephews. He’s proceeded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Turner, sisters Joann and Maudie, brothers Billy, Samuel, and Timothy.
