James (Jim) Eloy Vigil, 84, passed away on November 29, 2021 of natural causes. He was born August 15th, 1937 in Erie, Colorado to Salvador E. Vigil and Lilian S. Rivera. Jim graduated from Longmont High School and served in the Navy from 1955 - 1958. He was a long time resident of Longmont, Colorado and retired from Technetics as a Manager in Engineering. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, road trip, playing poker, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Anna (Caudillo) Vigil, wife of 62 years, son, James Lawrence Vigil, grandchildren Daniel Vigil, Larissa Vigil, Agustín Esposito-Vigil, and great granddaughter Alexei Vigil, and siblings Marie Sandoval and Susan Segura. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Joann Vigil (2018).
A celebration of James's life will be held at 10:00am on Monday, December, 20, 2021 at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral & Cremation Services all family and friends are welcome to attend.
