Janet left us Friday October 21st, with family by her side - surrounding her with love and support.
Janet leaves behind Ron, her loving husband of 57 years. Janet was truly the love of his life.
Ron met Janet in Baltimore, Maryland at a Bavarian beer hall, complete with a polka band.
They have two children - daughter Carleen and son Wayne.
Carleen and her husband Chris, reside in Florida. Carleen and Chris have two children, Tyler (Jessica) and Kaitlin (Chris) and four grandchildren.
Mila, Ellie, John and Allison.
Wayne and his wife Jennie, reside in Colorado. Wayne and Jennie have three children, Camden, Reid (fiancé Kara) and Aubree.
Janet loved her family so dearly, she was filled with immense pride for each of them. She was particularly proud that many family members have occupations that serve others, including military, medical, education, fire service, and law enforcement.
Janet was one of 6 children – Mike, Millie, Diane, Pat, and Kathy.
Janet loved to tell stories of growing up with her brother and sisters in Maryland.
There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she was.
Her face lit up whenever she spoke of her children and grandchildren.
Janet’s legacy is what lives on after her, and we are very grateful for that legacy.
We will miss her greatly, all of our days.
