Beloved prankster, father, and "Papa Jeff" Jeff Jones passes away at 65
Jeff Jones, whose infectious laughter and heart of gold were legendary, passed away peacefully on Friday 12/15/23. He leaves behind a loving family and a lifetime of memories for countless friends.
Born in 1957, Jeff embraced adventure early, riding the rodeo circuit and serving as an Air Force MP. He built a family with wife Alice and raised three children, then found his calling as a mechanic, both in the air and on the ground.
Retirement brought the joys of "Papa Jeff," showering grandchildren with love and laughter. He was always the first to help, fix, or offer a shoulder, all with a self-deprecating humor that endeared him to everyone.
Though gone, Jeff's spirit lives on in the laughter he sparked, the kindness he shared, and the love he gave freely.
Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, 11:00 a.m., St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment, Loveland Burial Park.
