1962 - 2021
Jeff passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2021 at the age of 59. He will be remembered for his unwavering love of the Lord as well as his affinity for his music. It was a rare day that he didn’t have his guitar in hand. He was born on January 10, 1962 to James and Marjorie Walton in Grand Junction, Colorado. The family moved to Lamar, Colorado where they lived for many years. They then moved to Cripple Creek, Colorado where Jeff graduated high school. He attended Air Mountain Bible College in Grand Junction and then he went to Colorado Northwestern in Rangely. He received a degree in engineering. He later became a plumber and continued with that until his passing. He married the love of his life Chrissy in 1996 and inherited two daughters, Brianne and Felicia. Two years later they welcomed another daughter, Miranda. He is proceeded in death by his father James Walton. He is survived by his wife Chrissy, daughters Brianne Tunink, Felicia Tunink and Miranda Walton. Grand children Kaylee, Kyndi, Karsen, Aubree, Payton, Ja’Niah, Adalyn and Burklee. His mother Marjorie, sisters Linda (Larry) Castor, Cheryl Paget and Janet (Joe) Harbert, many nieces and nephews and all his “adopted” kids.
