Jessica (Jess) Delourey, 35, of Windsor, was reunited with her daddy in heaven on August 26, 2022 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland surrounded by the love of her mother Elizabeth and sister Kelly after brave fight with end stage congestive heart failure.
Jessica was born on March 17th, 1987 in Loveland to Daniel and Elizabeth Delourey. She graduated from Loveland High School in 2006, and was a proud participant of the Loveland Wings/Easter Seals Day Program in the years after graduating high school.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth, her younger sister Kelly and her brother-in-law Tim, as well as her two beloved Golden Retrievers Peyton and Nugget. She was preceded in death by her father Daniel, who died in 2000 when Jess was just 13.
Jess enjoyed building her Lego Friends sets, dancing, karate, bowling, painting and art projects, interior design, theater, reading, gymnastics, board games, and playing her Nintendo Switch. She loved the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning.
Jessica’s bubbly, vibrant spirit and sweet nature touched so many lives during her short time in this world, simply put- if you knew her, you loved her. She had a genuine innocence and shared her love and kindness without reservation. This world lost such a special angel the day it lost Miss Jess. She was truly one of a kind.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home in Loveland on Friday, September 9th, 2022 at 10am, and a reception will follow. Any attendees are asked to wear colorful attire to her service instead of black, as Jessica would have wanted her life celebrated instead of mourned.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to Special Olympics of Colorado in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
