June 10, 1974 - June 6, 2021

On June 10, 1974, Jim was born in Longmont, Colorado to his parents, Robert J. Brintnall and Genevieve (Henry) Brintnall.  On June 6, 2021, he passed away from heart failure at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wy. in the presence of his loving family, he was 46.

Jim attended schools in Berthoud and Longmont. After high school, he worked at Hygiene Feed. While working there, he became interested in the cattle and livestock industry and went on to work for several ranches and feed operations across Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming.  In 2003 he went into the retail business when hired as assistant manager of The Mercantile store in Sidney. Jim had acquired a few basic welding skills and was then employed constructing steel buildings for oil and gas sites in the Riverton, Wy.area. He then went to welding school, became a Certified High-Pressure welder, and worked for Spudnik Equipment Co. and Premier Technologies in Blackfoot, Idaho. 

He moved to Casper in 2017 and was last employed with Porters Supply Co. in Casper. Jim was an accomplished marksman, saddle maker, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and beating his dad in a friendly game of cribbage. 

Jim is survived by his father Robert J. Brintnall Longmont Co, sister Diana Brintnall: Lafayette, Co. wife Karen Brintnall: Casper, Wy, children Amber Milner Sheridan, Wy. Cody Brintnall: Crawford, NE, Gage Jakobsen & Dustin Jakobsen: Casper, nephew DJ Darrah: Martinez, Ca, ex-wife Vicki Milner of Crawford, Ne. and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is proceeded in death by his mother in 2014.

Services will be held June 18, 2021, at 10 am at the Carroll - Lewellen Funeral home at 503 Terry St. Longmont, Co. Internment will follow at the Foothills Gardens of Memory 14241 North 107th Street, Longmont, CO. Reception to follow at the Moose Lodge 2210 Pratt St. Longmont, Co.
