May 4, 1939 - October 23, 2021

Jo Ann Evans passed away peacefully on 10-23-21 and has been lifted up by God’s angels to her final resting place in Heaven. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished and celebrated.

The family is planning a Catholic Mass Celebration of Life at Nativity Catholic Church on November 12th at 10:30, followed by a reception.

Jo was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on 5-4-1939, was married to Donald Joseph Evans on May 10th, 1958. She was preceded in death by her mother Bessie Jines, father Arthur Jines, brother Monte Jines, and Larry Jines. She is survived by her sisters Marilyn Truesdale and Donna Jines, five children Cynthia Vonfeldt married to Jerry Burley, Gregory Evans married to Catherine Henderson, Janice Miller married to Kelly Miller, Diane McFadden married to Robert McFadden and Cheryl Batch married to James Batch.

She also had 13 grandchildren whom she adored, Jason VonFeldt, Sonja Ornelas, Corinna Thomas, Mason Evans, Christopher Hollis, Justin Hollis, Holli Greening, Janelle McFadden, Rebecca Murphy, Jennifer McFadden, Amanda Martinez, Dylan Batch, Jenna Batch

Nine great-grandchildren, Jaxon Ornelas, Logan Ornelas, Tyson Ornelas, Nolan Greening, Isaiah Martinez, Micah Martinez, Elijah Martinez, Gerald Murphy, and Athena Murphy. She also had many nieces, nephews, and friends that she valued as immediate family members.

In the past two decades, Jo shared homes between Broomfield, Colorado and Lake Havasu City, Arizona and cherished her many friends she had made in both States.

Throughout her life, she had a deep love of family and friends, doted on her grand and great grandchildren, get-togethers, boating, water activities, pool time with family and friends, nature, playing games, line dancing, zumba, travel and her and Don had made many excursions with him and their friends. Her travels often included her many friends made from Indiana, Arizona, and Colorado.

She will be greatly missed and her memory will be held close to the hearts of many.
