It is with great sadness the family of Jon Bryan Chevalier announces that he passed away from a brain aneurysm on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He was 47 years old. He was born on October 31, 1972 in Loveland, Colorado, to Sheryl (Andrew) Chevalier and Jon D. Chevalier.
Jon Bryan had a passion for soccer, and started playing at the age of 6, playing for the City of Loveland, Thompson Soccer Association, Club United, and Thompson Valley High School. He made varsity his sophomore year and helped the team go to state for the first time. He made Team USA, travelling to Europe to play in 3 international cups. Jon Bryan graduated in 1991 from Thompson Valley High School. He worked at HP in Loveland, Emco in Longmont and at Instrutech in Longmont since 2003. He especially loved his work family.
Jon is survived by his Mother Sheryl Chevalier, Step Mother Mary Chevalier, Sister Misti Chevalier (Jason), Brother Zach Ell (Becky), Half Sister Tammy Walmsley (James), Nieces Krissa, Felicia, Hallie, Harmony and Nephew Kal, Cousins Kenny Scott, Karla, Karin, Jennifer, Jeff, Jodi, Cynthia, Steve and Darrin. He was preceded in death by his Father Jon D. Chevalier, Grandparents Hallie Andrew, Lowell Andrew, Daryl Chevalier, Elaine Chevalier and Cousin Jessica Edmonds.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sheryl Chevalier in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home and will be used to benefit children in their love of soccer.
Jon Bryan we hope you danced your way home and have the best soccer game ever.
Funeral services will be Friday October 9, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at The Good Shepherd Church 3429 North Monroe Loveland, CO. Reception to follow. Masks and distancing required.
