Joseph Peter Militello of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, surrounded by those he loved. He was 70.
Joseph, fondly known as Joe, was born to parents Ross and Anna Militello on January 3, 1953, in Rochester, New York. He was a talented athlete who loved playing sports and enjoyed spending his free time coaching youth sports teams and volunteering as an umpire for many years. Joe worked for Kodak for most of his professional life, eventually making his way to Colorado with the company in 1996. He loved the Colorado sunshine.
Joe is survived by his partner, Lyla May; his daughter, Carley Goleman; grandsons, Mason Raben and Ezra Goleman; brother, Leonard Militello; and sister, Maria Schubmehl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Anna Militello; and brothers, Richard and Robert Militello.
His celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Resthaven Memory Gardens Funeral & Cremation at 8426 US-287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
