Joyce Gielow, 82, of Broomfield Colorado passed away peacefully Saturday, October 28, after suffering a fall.
Private family services will be held in California. Born in Berkeley California, Joyce graduated college and began her career as an elementary school teacher. After marrying and moving to Colorado, she enjoyed assisting her Hallmark customers. She was a member of Rainbow Girls and was involved with Jobs’ Daughters in support of her children. She enjoyed playing the piano, traveling, and especially soaking up the sun on the beach.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years George Gielow, her daughters Kirsten (Kendal) Tagestad, Gwendolyn Gielow, and granddaughters Josephine and Kjellina Tagestad.
