March 6, 1931 - March 31, 2023

June Janette Ehrsam of Loveland, Colorado passed away on March 31, 2023, at the young age of 92.  June was born March 6, l931 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to parents Joe and Lula Stromski.

On December 24, l962 June married Marvin Ehrsam and moved from Nebraska to Colorado, where they raised three children.  After Marvin retired in l988 and the children were grown, they sold their home and bought a 5th wheel trailer and for eight years “followed the sun”.  They met many wonderful friends in their travels. They finally settled down in Loveland where they called home for the last 25 years.

June joined the Red Hat Society and enjoyed different events and luncheons with her “Red Hatters”.  She also volunteered at Habitat for Humanity for many years, making more great friends along the way.  June loved to do all kinds of crafting, including crochet and greeting cards.  Her latest craft was making fairy gardens and giving them away to her friends and family.  She also was an avid hockey fan and for many years she and Marvin attended all of the Loveland hockey team games, but her favorite was the Colorado Avalanche.  It was fun just watching her watching their games because she knew all the rules and would get very excited with each play they made.

June is survived by her son, Stanley Green, daughter, Sherry Schmidt, grandson Kelly Green and his family, and sister-in-law Barbara Anderson and family.  She is preceded by her father and mother, husband, daughter Cynthia Clementson, sisters Patricia Stuckey and Helen Eicher, and brother Robert Stromski.

June will be remembered as fun loving, strong, sometimes stubborn, and a friend to everyone she met. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home located at 1102 North Lincoln Avenue in Loveland, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
