MAY 28, 1941 – FEBRUARY 18, 2024

Kenneth “Ken” Harold Aldrich, 82, formerly of Loveland, Colorado, was surrounded by family when he passed away in the care of Denver Hospice on February 18, 2024.

Ken was born on May 28, 1941 in Manchester, Iowa to Harold Aldrich and Marjorie Richardson Aldrich. He grew up on the family farm near Ryan, Iowa, graduated from Manchester High School in 1958, and soon after joined the workforce in automotive sales. Ken was born a salesman and always loved a “good deal”. He worked for Davidson Chevrolet, Bob Wells Buick, K&C RV, and K&G Motors for years before he began working for himself. He enjoyed his working life and the rewards that hard work earned him.

Ken fathered five children, Laurie, Larry, Latricia, Linda, and Andrew. He and his family lived in Ryan, Iowa until 1968 when they relocated to Loveland, Colorado.

Ken spent the last 22 years with his loving and faithful partner, Bonnie Wilson. They enjoyed a happy life together, having fun and never taking life or themselves too seriously. In recent years, Bonnie and Ken moved out to Atwood, Kansas, where they resided at the time of Ken’s passing.

Ken was likeable and charismatic, which helped with his success in sales. He had great stories and enjoyed sharing them with friends and new acquaintances. Ken was fun and he was kind. He was not a perfect person but he did love his family.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and by his nephew, Lynn Boss. All of his children survive him along with their respective spouses, 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. His sister, Connie Boss, and nephew, Lonnie Boss also survive him. He leaves behind his sweetheart, Bonnie, and their trusted schnauzer, Perry.

Per Ken's wishes, he will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, Colorado. Arrangements in care Resthaven Funeral Home.
