SEPTEMBER 6, 1935 – JANUARY 3, 2021

Kenneth Omen Swann passed away on January 3, 2021 in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Kenneth was born on September 6, 1935 in Marion, Iowa to George and Tressie Swann. After high school he enlisted in the Navy and later joined the Air Force. Kenneth married Sandra in 1972, together they had five children from previous relationships, Connie, Randy, Kim, Tony and Darren. He enjoyed traveling the front range looking for different fishing spots and exploring the outdoors. Kenneth retired from CSU in 2006 and enjoyed spending his free time with Sandra in the garden and fishing. In his final years he enjoyed visits from his family and it was seeing his great grandchildren grow that really put a sparkle in his eye. Kenneth will be greatly missed by all and fond memories will be carried on by his family of his exceptional garden and 4th of July celebrations with homemade ice cream at their home in Fort Collins.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra; brother Larry Swann; sister -in-law Betty; son Tony (Zanna) Swann, step-daughter Connie (Steve) Cary, step-daughter Kim (Matt) Devlin, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
