Larry LaRoe Melton, 83 years of age, Loveland Colorado. Passed on Wednesday October 21, 2020.
He was born on May 24, 1937 in Loveland, Colorado to Charles and Muriel Melton. As a child he lived in several towns in Colorado with his five brothers and sisters. When he was in the sixth grade they returned to Loveland. He married Myrta June Copple on February 14, 1958 at the First Methodist Church in Loveland. He worked at the sugar factory in Johnstown. Then became employed at Red Dale in Longmont starting with painting travel trailers and worked his way up to management. Later he repaired and sold Rv's at the Campsite in Longmont. He retired in 1999. Upon retirement Larry and Myrta moved to Bullhead City, Arizona. Then they moved to Delta, Colorado and finally found their way back to Greeley, Colorado. Finally residing again in Loveland. Larry enjoyed hunting, boating and waterskiing, reading the newspaper, and woodworking.
Larry is survived by his wife Myrta of 62 years. His son Ty Melton, born on March 14, married to Cindy. His daughter Stacy Lengner, born on May 4, married to Don Lengner. His grandchildren Jamie Lengner, Nichole Lengner, and Savana Melton; also Jordan and Dillion Lawrence.
