March 20, 1945 - May 19, 2021

LeeRae Buderus came into this world on March 20, 1945 and left us on May 19, 2021.  LeeRae was born in Tacoma, WA and later the family moved to Loveland CO.  She married the love of her life and best friend, Ronald (Ron) Buderus on February 2, 1964 in Loveland CO.

   LeeRae leaves behind her loving family, husband, Ronald Paul Buderus of 58 years, Children:  Corey Buderus (Lois)Loveland, Cris Buderus, Denver and Craig Buderus, Loveland.  Grandchildren: Beth Welsh (Josh), Ren Frank, Robyn Lynn Nagelmueller, Jehna Powell and Ronnie Buderus. Great-grandchildren: Faith, Tristan and Kaden Welsh, Elizabeth and Aiden Nagelmueller.  She is also survived by lots of loving family and great friends.

   LeeRae is preceded in death by her parents, Jake & Rachel Frick, brother Doyle Frick and in-laws Paul and Pauline Buderus.

   LeeRae was a graduate of Loveland High School in 1963.  After graduation, she started working for State Farm Insurance. 

   Ron and LeeRae met in 1963, cruising College Ave in Fort Collins.  After marrying, they lived in Evans, CO and both worked for State Farm Insurance. They moved back to Loveland to raise their family.  LeeRae continued to work at State Farm until the birth of their first son, Corey.  LeeRae was a busy stay home mom.   She supported Ron and the boys in all their life adventures.  LeeRae loved camping with her family and friends and enjoyed trips to Black Hawk.  She loved chocolate!

   Both were involved with the Loveland Fire Dept.  Ron as an engineer and LeeRae as his support.  She was active with the Fire Sirens, which was a group of firefighter’s wives.  LeeRae was the only civilian to receive the Chief Merit Award, for all the volunteer work she did for Loveland Fire Dept.

   LeeRae is missed by her family and many friends.

   A Celebration of LeeRae’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 N. Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO  80537

   Memorial contributions may be made to the Larimer Humane Society in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
