Lillian "Ellen" (Vickers) Smith, 90, graduated to heaven May 13, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved baking, gardening and being involved in her family's lives. She also loved keeping in touch with her nieces and nephews. She was a whiz in the kitchen and made the world's best banana bread and biscuits and gravy. Ellen loved Jesus and enjoyed sharing her faith with others.
She was born in Wisconsin, but lived most of her life in Illinois after she married the love of her life, Homer, July 6, 1952. She loved the Colorado mountains and relocated to Colorado after he passed in 2018.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings. She is survived by her 5 children, 19 grand children and 21 great grandchildren. Ellen lived a very long and rich life and she will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
