NOVEMBER 3, 1935 – JUNE 1, 2021
Lois J. Ashjian 85 of Longmont, Colorado passed away on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at the Longmont United Hospital Hospice unit.
She was born on November 3, 1935 to parents John & Adele Erzig of Elmwood Park, Illinois. She was the oldest of two children with her brother, Robert Erzig, presently living in Apache Junction, Arizona with his wife Betty. On January 21, 1956 she married Joseph R. Ashjian and had two daughters Cynthia and Michelle. They resided in the suburbs of Chicago before retiring to Colorado in 1992 and had recently celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary. She is survived by her husband Joseph and two daughters as well as having been very blessed to have four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Over the years, Lois worked in the medical field as a unit secretary. She loved antique shopping and has an extensive collection of Beatrix Potter figurines. She will be remembered as a very kind and generous mother, grandmother and great grandmother who never forgot friends and loved ones on holidays and special occasions. At this time, there is no funeral service date set, however, a memorial service and celebration of life will be forth coming in the near future.
