Lois Smith (88), went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2023.
Lois was born in Crawfordsville, IN on June 24, 1934 to Nancy and Raymond Runyon and was of 1 of 7 siblings. Lois married Robert Rennick on January 1, 1953, during this marriage they welcomed Cheryl Lynn Rennick and Daniel Wayne Rennick. In 1966 Lois, Cheryl and Dan settled in Loveland, CO. She later met and married Loren Francis Smith on November 24, 1967 and welcomed their daughter Dawn Michelle Smith in 1968.
Lois ran a Sandblasting company (L&L Equipment Cleaners) with her husband Loren while she worked full time as a meat wrapper for Safeway. Lois loved to go to Bronco games, travel, dine and find treasures at garage sales. Once she retired, she and Loren lived in Hernando, Florida for 6 months out of the year and Colorado 6 months out of the year. She was proud to say she had traveled to all 50 states and never missed a chance to listen to live country music.
Lois is survived by her three children: Cheryl and husband Kenn Wilson of Loveland, Dan and wife Raeann Rennick of Greeley and Dawn Smith of Frisco, TX. Brother – Earl Runyon. Five Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren. Lois was proceeded in death by her husband Loren, parents, brothers – Don & Wendy, sisters – Marilyn, Marcheta, Wandaline.
