Lora Lu Anderson, 66, died July 23rd, 2021, at her home surrounded by love. A native of Loveland Colorado, she was born August 12th, 1954, the daughter of James E and Phyllis (Davis) DuBois.
Lora graduated from Loveland High, Class of 1972. Following graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, John Anderson. Together they enjoyed 43 years of marriage. Lora was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with lifelong friends and family. She brought love and happiness to everyone she met with her infectious laughter and amazing spirit. “It is only important to love the world, yourself, and all beings to regard them with love, admiration, and respect.”
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Anderson. She is survived by two daughters, Emilie Anderson, of Loveland, Allison Blackwell, and her husband, James, of Evans; a brother Jim DuBois and wife Connie, of Loveland, a sister, Laine Renfro, of Santa Fe; brother-in-laws, Hugo Anderson and his wife, Marianne, Peter Anderson and his wife, Patti, both of New London; three grandchildren, Aliya, Jacquez, and Amaya Blackwell, of Evans; three step-grandchildren Kiera, Xavier, and Jasmine Blackwell, of Evans; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and two grand-dogs, Zoey and Little One, of Loveland.
A Celebration of life, open house, will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4th, at 3334 Netherland Dr., Loveland, CO 80538.
