Loraine Claire McCurry (Condon) was born on August 16, 1946 in Aurora, Colorado to Betty J. Oliver and John V. Condon.

As a child she lived in Chillicothe Missouri and Aurora Colorado. She graduated from Aurora Central High School in 1964 and then attended CU Boulder for 1 year. It was during her Junior year in high school that she met Jerry O. McCurry whom she later married in 1968. They had 2 children Tim and Erin. They resided in Broomfield, Colorado for the majority of their marriage.

In the early 90’s life took them on different paths and they divorced, but still remained close and great friends. In 1967 Lori began her career with United Airlines as a flight attendant. She flew the friendly skies for over 42 years and always stated “She never had a bad day at work”. She loved her career and the adventures it took her on. After she retired from United she was a very active “Nana” to her four grandchildren. She shared her love of travel and great food with them and taught them to enjoy the finer things in life.

She doted on them day and night and spoiled them until the very end. They truly were her pride and joy. On Sunday September 4, 2022 Lori took her last earthly breath and joined her savior and many loved ones in Heaven. She fought a long and courageous battle against ovarian cancer for 3 ½ years. She was surrounded by her family during her final days and moments. She was preceded in death by her Father John V. Condon, her step-mom Joyce Condon, her mother Betty J. Oliver, 2 of her brothers Mike Condon and John Condon Jr.. Her nephew Shaun Michael McCurry, ex-husband Jerry McCurry and other beloved family members and friends.

She is survived by her son Tim McCurry and his wife Brit of Frederick, Colorado. Her daughter Erin Brueggeman and husband Jason of Frederick, Colorado. 4 incredible grandchildren Cameron McCurry, Dylan McCurry, Peyton Brueggeman and Parker Brueggeman all of Frederick. Her 3 brothers Cliff McKissack, Jerry McKissack and Tony Tanner of Denver and their families as well as numerous other family members and friends. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Lori did not want a service, so the family is respecting her wishes and will scatter her ashes in a private family gathering at the location she chose.
