Mae Louise Katschke passed away on May 4, 2021, she was 90 years old.
Mae was born on May 3, 1930 to Jack and Gertrude (Voltz) Ralston in Akron, OH. She graduated from Rayen High School and the University of Akron. Mae served in the United States Army.
On June 1, 1957 she married Richard Katschke. In 1999 she moved to Longmont, Colorado from Youngstown, Ohio. Mae worked as a cashier at St. Elizabeth Hospital and later at Walmart. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Mae was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1999, her son Rick Smith, and her sister Donna Ralston Arthur.
She is survived by her son James Gregory Katschke (Cheryl Katschke); her daughter Karen Lynn Fretwell (Dr. James Fretwell); her brothers Harry Ralston and Jack Ralston; her sister Dottie Ralston Stanzak; and her grandchildren Ryan and Jennifer Fretwell and Alexandra Katschke.
