Manuel Steven Lujan

APRIL 7, 1968 – DECEMBER 20, 2021

Manuel Steven Lujan was born to Raymond B. Lujan Sr. & Stella Lujan on April 7, 1968 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins Colorado. He lived his entire life in Fort Collins. He attended local schools and graduated from Centennial High School in 1987. Manuel was raised in the Catholic faith and was member of Holy Family Church. Manuel was a skilled auto mechanic, welder and fabricator. He worked alongside his brothers and nephews at R&L Automotive. Manuel was very innovative and wasn’t afraid to think outside of the box. One of his passions was building and racing fast cars with his brothers (Ray Jr., Joe, Robert, and Frank). Manuel was divorced, but yet was in a devoted relationship for over two decades with Christine (aka “Jack”). He loved his son, grandsons, bonus sons and bonus grandchildren very much. He was very committed to his siblings and parents. He especially worked hard to always help his mother when she lived alone- so his dad could rest easy. Manuel had a big heart and a kind soul mixed with an ornery spirit and the tendency to joke around with everyone. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it and didn’t ask for anything in return. Manuel also liked to watch the Denver Broncos games, Street Outlaws, MMA fights, and funny movies. He was a great cook and made the best enchiladas for our family get together(s).

Manuel is survived by his mother, Stella; siblings, Ray Jr. (Virginia), Robert, Clara Hernandez (Pat), and Frank (Beth); son, Vincent; grandsons, Tony and Rylan; his nephews, Joey, Jericho, Camaro, Kyle, and Jimmie; nieces, Lita, Ro, Miranda, and Erica; “Life-like” brother & sister, Heath Pringle & Keri Pickett; and numerous extended families of uncles, aunts, cousins and good friends.

Manuel was preceded in death by his father, Ray Sr.; brother, Joe; companion, Christine; grandparents, Manuel & Clara Lujan and Joe & Celia Sanchez; Uncles, Henry & Ralph Lujan and Delmo & Bill Sanchez; Aunts, Celina, Theresa, Inez, Frances, and Ida; Great nephew, Tommy Hansen; Daughter-in-law, Devyn Lujan.
