Margaret Maureen Eastin passed away on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022 in Loveland, CO at the age of 94 years old. Margaret was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. She enjoyed needlework, gardening, baking, word find puzzles, and her family.
Margaret was born in Wray, CO on June 20, 1928 to Anton and Anna Kaur. Her early years were spent on the Plains of Colorado. She graduated from Joes High School in 1946 and a few years later married Maurice Eastin, the love of her life. She and Maurice farmed in Yuma County, Colorado north of Joes, CO. In 1960 they relocated to Loveland, CO where they raised their two children, Michael Eastin, and Valerie (Eastin) Beard. Upon retirement they moved to Paonia, CO and resumed farming until Margaret returned to Loveland in 2004.
Margaret is survived by two children, Michael Eastin of Loveland, CO and Valerie (Floyd) Beard of Kim, CO. She has two grandchildren, Laneha (Casey) Everett of Pritchett, CO and Justin (Tamra) Beard of Aguilar, CO. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Beard, Braelynn Beard, Cashen Beard, and Audy Everett.
Her husband, Maurice, and a great-grandchild, Casey Gail Everett, preceded Margaret in death.
Services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, Loveland, CO at 1:00 p.m. with graveside services at Resthaven Memory Gardens at 2:00 p.m.
