FEBRUARY 19, 1939 – APRIL 22, 2022
Marilyn Ruth Andres, 83, of Loveland, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 22, 2022. Marilyn was born February 19, 1939, to Edwin and Rachel Griess in Loveland, Co. The family moved to Windsor in 1947 and she graduated from Windsor High School in 1957. After graduation she moved to Denver and attended Parks Business School, after graduation she worked for Public Service Company until she quit to start and raise her family.
She married Gerald Lee Rosh in April of 1960, together they had 4 children. After suffering the loss of their firstborn twins, Becky Jo and Joni Teresa; Russell Rosh was born in 1961 and Jody Rosh in 1963. In 1968 Gerald passed away and Marilyn remarried in 1969 to Stan Andres. She became stepmom to Stan’s son, Mark, and in 1970 their daughter, Jeanette was born.
Marilyn worked as a substitute at Earlybird Montessori school in Loveland before she started working at Kmart where she retired after 14 years. She then became a volunteer for Loveland Chapter of Meals on Wheels.
Marilyn was an angel here on earth as she loved and cared for everyone who crossed her path. She was a mother figure to not only to her own children, but all her nephews and nieces, and many friends whom she loved very much.
She is survived by her children, Russell Rosh (Sue), Mark Andres (Suzanne), Jody Rosh, and Jeanette Andres (Debbie); grandchildren, Cody Hoffman and Ben Andres; great grandchildren, Lillee Hoffman and Raelyn Hoffman; her brothers, Charles Griess and Richard Griess (Mary); and many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister, Phylis Griess; daughters, Becky and Joni Rosh; previous husband, Gerald Rosh; parents, Rachel & Edwin Griess; and husband, Stanley Andres.
Marilyn will be greatly missed by all.
Services will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home (8426 S. Hwy 287 Fort Collins, Co) on Friday April 29 2022 at 10am.
There will be an open casket viewing from 9-9:45 prior to service.
