JUNE 5, 1966 – SEPTEMBER 30, 2022
It is with profound sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of our heart and soul, our special boy – Mark James Pineda of Windsor, Colorado on September 30th at the age of 56 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother – Mary Pineda of Windsor, CO and brother, Michael R. Pineda and wife Pat of Denver, Colorado. Mark had many uncles, aunts, and cousins from the Valdez/Salazar and the Pineda/Carpio families. He was predeceased by his father Cedric Pineda.
Mark was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on the 5th of June 1966. He was a member of ResCare Community Living and recently attended and enjoyed the Otero Corporation in Windsor, Colorado.
Mark enjoyed everything social, whether it be attending family bbq’s, to camping or just hanging out with family. He had an infectious smile and genuine interest in people. He was passionate about listening to music. To his brother’s dismay he constantly played Elvis Presley. His brother blames his mother for the influence in this choice of music.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church (1250 7th Street, Windsor, Colorado 80550, 970.686.5084) on October 13th, 2022 at 11:00 am. Followed by a Burial Ceremony at Resthaven Memory Gardens (8426 US-287, Fort Collins, Colorado 80525, 970.775.9910). A reception will be held back at Our Lady of the Valley Church following burial.
The family would like to thank the town, residents, and various businesses of Windsor, CO for their compassion, protectiveness and love for Mark during his young adult years.
