Marlene Fay Minton was born January 8th, 1945, in St. Francis Kansas to Roy and Permelia Workman.
In 1967, Marlene married Grant Owen Minton and in 1969 had one child, Kathleen.
Marlene enjoyed cooking for everyone. She was known around town for her amazing food. People would follow to whatever restaurant she was cooking at. She loved working with her twin sister, Darlene.
Marlene will always be remembered as the feisty redhead with red lipstick and loved her family with all her heart.
She is preceded in death by loving husband, Grant Minton, parents, Roy and Permelia Workman, sisters, Judy, Delores, Donna, Katie and brothers, Charlie, and Rod.
Surviving are daughter, Kathleen Wolinski, grandson, Cory Minton and his wife, Kylee Feemster, grandson, Dakota Wolinski, great granddaughter, Emily Thompson/Minton, twin sister, Darlene Workman, brothers, Dennis, Ronnie, and Don.
Cremation was requested with a Memorial service being held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at the Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home in Wray, Colorado.
Memorials may be made to the Marlene Minton Memorial Fund, c/o First Pioneer National Bank, 145 W. 4th Street, Wray, Colorado 80758.
