Marvin Dale Schra, 79, of Loveland, Colorado passed away peacefully at home with his sons by his side on Saturday February 26, 2022.
Marv was born on November 2nd, 1942 in Denver, Colorado to Martin and Geraldine Schra. Marv graduated from Denver Christian High and shortly after he was drafted into the Army to serve for the Vietnam War where he was stationed in Europe, finished his tour and was Honorably Discharged.
Marv married Donna Jeltema on February 24th, 1968. They later moved to Berthoud, Colorado to a small farm where he built their home and they raised their four sons; Jeff, Kurt, Chris and Marc. Marv graduated from RHEMA Bible Training School in 1980 and shortly after he became an ordained minister where he traveled the world with his Wife Donna and their sons and visited at least 56 countries where he helped build orphanages, churches and homes for missionaries. Marv enjoyed teaching The Bible to his children and grandchildren, playing golf, going to lunch with his sons and spending time with his grandchildren.
Marv is preceded in death by his wife Donna. Marv is survived by his sons Jeffrey(Hannah) Kurt(Nikki) Christopher(Susie) Marc(Kaci) and his grandchildren Natalie, Christian, Keagan, Kiera, Aiden, River, Rain and Bo.
Marvin's Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
