Marvin Eugene McDonald age 86 (born 12/31/1934) of Eckley, Colorado passed away on March 2nd 2021. Born in rural Yuma County to Marion Bud McDonald and Bertha Ellen Kier. He dedicated his life to his family and was always willing to help a friend or neighbor.
After he graduated from high school, Marvin served in Korea for four years. When he returned from the service, he met the love of his life, (Alice) Marie McDonald and they were married in 1960. Together they had three children. Trinda Fae McDonald , Tammy Rae McDonald and Randy McDonald. Marvin and Marie’s first child, Trinda passed at birth. His son Randy worked with him on the family farm, and his daughter Tammy Rae went on to work in the field of Information Technology.
Marvin was a generous, caring, loving father and was very kind and generous to his friends and neighbors. He took pride in raising cattle and farming, and happily shared his knowledge. He was always available to help friends, family and neighbors in their time of need.
Marvin was predeceased by (daughter) Trinda Fae McDonald, (father) Marion Bud McDonald, (mother) Bertha Ellen McDonald. He leaves behind (wife) Marie McDonald, (daughter) Tammy Rae McDonald and spouse Pauletta Yauk, (son) Randy McDonald and spouse Darcy McDonald, (grandsons) Kalen McDonald and spouse Sherry McDonald, Swithen McDonald and spouse Diamond McDonald, and Tarren McDonald and spouse Staci McDonald, (great grandchildren) Myka and Tehya McDonald, (sister) Mardell White, (brother) Morris McDonald.
