MARY CLARISSA (RINI) BISESI
Mary Clarissa Bisesi, age 98, went home to be with her Lord on January 11, 2023. She suffered from Dementia the last six months of her life, and lived in a nursing home in Boulder. Mary’s years of life were nothing short of well-lived, well-loved and very blessed. She remained steadfast in her Catholic faith throughout her life. If our love for her alone was enough to keep her here, she would be with us forever.
Mary was born on August 14, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio, the only child of Ignatius and Mary Rini. She married her beloved husband, Philip Joseph Bisesi on April 9, 1947. Not long after, together with her parents, they built and opened a thriving grocery store. After 7 years a lot of hard work, and long hours, they sold their business. In 1966, the family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. She was very happily married to Phil for 37 years until he passed away, too soon, in December, 1984. He was the love of her life and she missed him terribly throughout her remaining years.
After living in Scottsdale for 36 years, she moved to Broomfield in March of 2002 to be near her daughter and family.
Mary is survived by her son, Philip J. Bisesi, of Surprise, Arizona and her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Robert Schmidt of Broomfield, Colorado, as well as her two beloved grandsons, Daniel Schmidt (Whitney, whom she loved like a granddaughter) of Seattle, Washington and Jonathan Schmidt of Los Angeles, CA. She was loved immensely, the absolute best Grandma, and a delight to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
