NOVEMBER 13, 1937 – NOVEMBER 5, 2020
Mary Edith (Gutting) Mcleod Catlin went to be with her lord on November 5, at the age of 82. She passed peacefully in her home.
Mary was born in Keokuk, Iowa and grew up in Kahoka MO. She loved hanging out with her friends and family and riding horses. Mary lived by the golden rule of treat people the way you would want them to treat you. She had so many friends and family that loved her.
She was a member of “The Steele Magnolias” which was a group of 7 women who have been friends for about 40 years. They got together at least once a month for coffee and conversation. She was also a member of Timberline Church. She was a women of strong faith.
Mary loved playing various card games, golf, bowling, ping pong, music and riding bicycles with family. She touched so many lives with her grace, love and selflessness. She will be missed by so many but know that she is in heaven looking down on all of us.
Mary is survived by her husband Bart Catlin of 16 years, daughters Sherry Duvet of Texas, Ann Mcleod of Reno, son Terry Mcleod of Fort Collins, grandchildren Dustin, Devin, Quincy, Blake and Brooke, and 3 Great grandchildren.
Services will held on Wednesday Nov 18th at 1 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Services will be outside, weather permitting.
