Mary J. Anthony (81) of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on January 3, 2023. Mary Anthony was born in 1941 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to parents of Frank and Laverne Magadance. She was the oldest of 10 siblings.
Mary Anthony graduated from Rigis High in 1959, a private catholic school located in Eu Claire, Wisconsin. Soon after, Mary met and married Wayne Anthony from Stanley, Wisconsin in 1962. Together they raised three boys with the oldest son Micheal (Traci) living in Interlachen, FL, middle son Robert (Denise) in Loveland, CO and youngest son Richard (Heather) in Fort Collins, CO.
Wayne and Mary moved to Fort Collins, Co in1968, where they lived and raised their children in same house for more than 20 years before moving to Mosinee, WI for next 5 years. They returned to Loveland, CO and retired.
Mary Anthony who not only was a loving wife, and caring mother for three boys, but also enjoyed shopping, ceramics, reading books, puzzles, her pet dog Max, all types of handcrafts, and eating-out with friends. She also had several part time jobs with merchandiser for American Greedings Card being her favorite.
Mary is survived by her husband, Wayne Anthony; her 3 brothers, Frank, Steve, David Magadance; and her four sisters, Marlene Haugen, Marcene Magadance, Michele Skinner, and Margie Bien. Two of her brothers Donald and James Magadance passed in 2018, and in 2014. She has 4 grandchildren, Jeffery Anthony, Aranda Anthony, Caitlyn Anthony, and Abby Anthony. There are two great grandchildren Jaxon and Evelyn.
Rosary for Mary will be held Wednesday, January 11, at 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S HWY 287 (just North of Loveland).
A catholic funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am, on January 12th, 2023 at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Parish located at 1730 W. 12th Street, Loveland CO.
An inurnment will occur Thursday, January 12 at 2:00 P M at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 8426 S. HWY 287 (Just north of Loveland).
