Michael Duane Fanning, 52, of Broomfield Colorado, passed away on September 25th at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood.

Michael was born in Denver, Colorado to Max and Karen Fanning on November 1, 1967. He lived and went to school in Louisville Colorado, graduating from Centaurus High School in 1986. He married Tina Walker on August 19, 1989 in Boulder, Colorado. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration/Environmental Management in 1996. He most recently worked as a Health, Safety and Environment Manager for Total Safety US Inc. and in the field of Health and Safety for over 20 years.

Michael is survived by his wife Tina Fanning, daughters Megan and Sarah Fanning, parents Max and Karen Fanning and sister Melanie Vezzani.

Michael displayed incredible love and devotion to his family. He was the best kind of husband and father, always understanding the importance of Tina, Megan and Sarah in his life, showing his great love for them in all he did. Michael will be remembered lovingly by all who knew him as having the ability to instantly brighten every circumstance and place he was present. His smile was captivating and contagious as he brought life and laughter to everyone he encountered.

Michael was a dedicated brother, son and friend who would never hesitate to support and love anyone in need. Michael’s faith in God gives great comfort, along with the knowledge that he
is completely cared for by our loving Father. All who had the opportunity to know Michael will smile with memories and always feel the care and love that accompanied his presence.
