Michael “Mike” Jerome Barrett, of Broomfield, Colorado, born on June 21, 1963 in Forest Lake, Minnesota, to the late Avis and George Barrett, Jr., passed away at home at age 57 on April 15, 2021.
He spent most of his 57 years of life living in Broomfield, a town he loved. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Donna Barrett and Patricia Hartmeister. Mike is survived by his brothers, George Barrett III, Robert Barrett; and sisters, Barbara Landwehr and Laurie Barrett.
Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to cook. He was a caring brother and friend. He was quick to engage friends and strangers in conversation and had the ability to make anyone laugh.
Due to Covid-19 concerns a small funeral service will take place at the gravesite. Friends and family can pay their respects at the service, officiated by Pastor Cris Crisfield on Friday April 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Broomfield County Commons Cemetery, 12801 Sheridan Blvd., Broomfield, Colorado, 80020.
