On October 24, 2022, Nellie went home to be with her Lord and Savior.

Nellie Anna Nighswonger was born December 28, 1917, to Lester and Rachel (Van Pelt) Nighswonger in Wheatland, Wyoming.  

She owned a café in LaGrange, WY, she was a homemaker, cooked on a ranch, drove beet trucks, worked in the sugar factory, and a restaurant hostess.

She was an amazing pie baker, seamstress, and a friend to all who knew her.

Nellie had five siblings: Charles, Elsie, Harold, Harvey, and Lottie

Nellie is survived by daughters: Darlene (Ron) Schneider, Janis (Ron) Marshall, Margie (Larry) Houser, and Daughter-in-Law, Lola Gregory; Grandchildren: Ron (Renee) Schneider, Debbie (Jim) Schneider-Bergman, Mark (Julie) Schneider, Randy (Becky) Marshall, Lori Bell, Jason (Brooke) Marshall, Brenda (Alan) McGuire, and Sherri (Jeremy) Sturgis.  Nellie was also blessed with 24 Great-Grandchildren, 21 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Nellie was a loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husbands (Arnold Gregory, Robert Parker, and Delmore Nimmo), son (Robert Gregory), grandsons (Gregory Lee Schneider and Robert Glen Gregory), granddaughter (Gwen Gregory Trembulak), Great-Granddaughters (Jessica Gregory, Kristina Druckerman, and Anna Marshall)

Her contagious smile, warm heart, and soft hands will be greatly missed!

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will take place prior to the service.  Interment Lakeside Cemetery in Loveland.
