1914 - 2020
Opal LaFaun Skinner passed at the age of 106 on Tuesday evening, October 5th 2020. Opal was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Adrian Skinner and daughter Karen Kay Sinn. She is survived by her two sons, Larry Skinner (wife Grace Skinner) and Adrian “Boon” Skinner (wife Carolyn Skinner) and one daughter, Connie Jo Diffee-Hill. Opal is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Opal was born in Hugoton, KS January 6th, 1914. She met Adrian and they married on May 14th 1933. They moved their family to Limon, CO in 1948 where they successfully farmed and raised their family.
