Patricia “Pat” Ann Abston passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 81 in Loveland, Colorado.
Born on February 4, 1942, in Wichita, Kansas, Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and sister. Patricia, or Pat or Tricia, as she was affectionately known, will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted husband of sixty years, Larry Abston. Pat is also survived by her daughter, Lesli Unger, and son-in-law, Michael Unger. Her grandson, Christopher Unger, and granddaughter-in-law, Beth Unger, will cherish her memory. Pat's great-granddaughter, Chelsea Unger, brought immense joy to her life.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Holly Abston. The memories of Patricia's loving and nurturing nature will forever be cherished by her family.
A ceremony to celebrate Patricia's life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The details of the service will be shared with family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association (heart.org) in Patricia's honor. Your support will help further research and education to prevent heart disease.
