April 30, 1942 - January 19, 2024

Patsy Joan Lafferty passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024 while surrounded by her family after a long fight with vascular dementia. She was 81 years old.

Pat was born and raised in Loveland, Colorado.  In March 1963, she married her high school sweetheart and soulmate, Richard “R.K.” Lafferty.  She became a stay-at-home mom and spent the following 60 years creating a supportive and loving home.  In 1983, they took a risk and bought an electrical business.  Together, they worked and grew their business until they retired in 2010.

Pat had an exceptionally kind heart and made friends everywhere she went; she was simply beautiful inside and out.  Pat loved her family, her home and welcomed all who visited with open arms.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and daughter who embraced every moment with those she loved.  She will forever be remembered for her gift of giving, wicked sense of humor, good nature, warmth, endless energy, spotless home, and love of sweets.  She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered and always in our hearts.

Pat is survived by her husband, R.K.; two daughters and their husbands: Apryl and Javier Lagunas, Nikki and Kevin Laughlin; six grandchildren: Zachary Lagunas, Kelsey Lagunas, Quincey Laughlin, Donovan Lagunas, Ryan Laughlin and Declan Laughlin; four siblings: Jack Cruise, Judy Waterman, Linda (Bill) Moore and Delbert “Beezer” (Wanda) Cruise as well as 14 nieces and 11 nephews.  She was preceded in death by parents Delbert and Etta Cruise and brother Terry Cruise.

No service is immediately planned.  Cremation has been completed, and Patsy is now at peace, perhaps toasting us with a can of Pepsi.  The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is planned.
