Paul E. Sanders, age 78, of Broomfield, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 of a massive stroke at Lutheran Medical Center. Born in September, 1944, in Houston, Texas to Joyce and Elton, they eventually moved to Boulder, Colorado where he met and married the love of his life, Diane.
Paul was a proud member of the USAF and after being stationed with Diane in Rapid City, SD he was honorably discharged as an MP and settled in Broomfield, CO. Paul worked till his retirement for Yellow Freight where he provided an excellent life for his family.
He shared a love of travel with his family and looked forward to the annual vacations to WDW which would later be substituted with trips to Scotland, which fueled his passion for collecting Single Malt Scotch. Scotch was only one of his passions; he also loved reading, astronomy, coin collecting, and long mountain drives to Estes Park.
A loving father, grandfather, friend, and neighbor he will be missed for his warmth, dry sense of humor, patience, and guidance. Paul is survived by his daughter, Melissa; son, James; daughter, Heather and son-in-law Kenny; grandchildren Jordan, Christopher, Seamus, Fiona, and Caoimhe. He loved his family and cherished every moment big and small.
