Randall L. Bowen, 64, of Longmont, Colorado, peacefully passed away at home on November 4, 2022 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with brain cancer.
Randall was born on April 1, 1958 in Jacinto City, Texas. After Randall graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1976, he attended the University of North Texas. There he met his wife Pam, and soon after joined the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service he finished his degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. Randall and Pam married on July 24, 1982 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas. They went on to have two children, Brianna Catherine and Bryce Daniel.
Randall worked as a Software Test Engineer for over 30 years. He was a loving father, and grandfather. He was passionate about music and loved playing the drums in his free time. He enjoyed homebrewing and participated in martial arts where he achieved the level of black belt. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, wit, and kindness. Randall was a man of faith, and enjoyed volunteering in his church community at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Longmont.
Randall was preceded in death by his nephew Torey Wayne Blackstock, his mother Gloria Ann Bowen and father Dell Roy Bowen. He is survived by his wife Pam, children Brianna and Bryce, granddaughter Avery Roinestead and sisters Daina Kay Blackstock and Carol Dellene Bowen.
A Rosary was held for Randall at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, Colorado on Thursday, November 10th, 2022. His Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Longmont, Colorado on Friday, November 11th, 2022.
