September 26, 1984 - February 28, 2022

Rebecca Leanne Stanley also known as Becky Silva was born on September 26, 1984 and passed away February 28, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Anyone who knew Becky knew she had a beautiful smile that she always wore. She was fun loving, light hearted, with a side of sass. She had a happy outgoing personality and a wonderful sense of humor. She loved her family, friends, and her church family.

Becky married Dennis James Stanley on October 13, 2012. They had a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony that included a mountain backdrop (which she loved!). One of Becky’s greatest accomplishments was having her two sons. Riley Jacob Silva Born on September 27, 2010 and Landon James Stanley Born on October 28, 2021. Becky has always been the rock of her family, and her family was her world!

Becky loved fishing, camping, and sports – Go Broncos! She also loved crocheting, cooking and baking. She was just learning to quilt with help from her mother in loves, she didn’t believe in calling them mother in laws. Becky loved music and dancing, she went to outdoor concerts with her mom and sisters. Becky enjoyed reading, she has escaped into many different worlds and has a wonderful collection of books! Becky loved exploring the city museums, aquariums, and zoos with Riley Bear. And so much wanted to show Landon the same experiences.

Another passion of Becky’s was traveling. As a child her adventures included many long road trips. With her family she traveled to Indiana, Arizona, Florida and Nevada. In high school she traveled with the band to Hawaii and Boston. Becky highly valued family time and traveled to be with family, some of the places she went were Missouri, Reno, Texas and Wisconsin. She saw the sandy beaches of Jamaica, and the lava shores of Iceland. Of all the places in the world Becky has always longed to travel to Scotland, which she was able to do in her early twenties. She was able to see the castles, the hills, and the Celtic culture that she was passionate about. Along her travels she collected bells souvenirs, as a reminder of where she has been.

Becky loved life, she loved family gatherings, playing games together, and creating memories. She travelled the world and left an impression on everyone she met. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Becky is loved and missed by many, remaining in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Grace Community Church in Johnstown, CO.  Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Community Church in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home & Crematory, 1102 N. Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO  80537

1 Corinthians 13:1–7

The Way of Love

13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
