Regina M. Depperschmidt, 74, passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2022 at North Shore Health and Rehab, in Loveland, Colorado. Regina was born in Colby, Kansas, where she spent her childhood and graduated from Colby Community College with an Associate's Degree. While in college she met Larry
Depperschmidt and they were married in 1968. They moved to Loveland, Colorado, and had three children. She raised two of those children while working at Hewlett-Packard in Loveland, Fort Collins, and Greeley for 27 years. She still found time to bowl and sing in the choir at St. John's Catholic Church.
She was looking forward to being a grandmother, but only was able to enjoy that position for three short years. She spent the last 23 years of her life battling the effects of a massive stroke and had to live an entirely different life from what she or the family had ever envisioned.

Even though the stroke took away her mobility and her ability to live on her own that didn't mean she wasn't going to try and live the rest of her life in her own way. She continued to be a spitfire and was never afraid to tell you what she wanted OR what she thought and always kept everyone on their toes. Regina had always put her family first and sacrificed so much for her kids and, in retrospect, even the stroke was a sacrifice that the family did not realize until many years later. There is no doubt that she has cemented her place in Heaven and will be missed. Be sad if you must but please rejoice in knowing that Regina is no longer suffering and just existing, but now living out the life she truly deserves.

Regina leaves behind her children Reese (Jean) Depperschmidt and Jennifer (Dave) Ferry. Grandchildren Kyle Depperschmidt, Spencer Ferry, Samantha Ferry, and Emily Depperschmidt. Sisters Gloria Pabst and Cheryl Maggard.

In Heaven, she joins her son Roy Depperschmidt, parents Everett and Adella (Vrbas) Harry, brothers Calvin Harry and Phil Harry, sister Glinda Guard, and her first love Larry Depperschmidt.
