Retta Miller 84, passed away at McKee Medical Center, Loveland, CO, with Pathways Hospice on July 3rd 2021.
She was born in Arcadia, NE to Clifford and Olive (Vance) Stone. She lived most of her life in Nebraska with her family, along with years in Colorado and Missouri during her lifetime. She enjoyed the past 11 years in Loveland, Colorado.
Retta was married 59 years to Darrel Miller who preceded her in death in 2013. They had 4 children.
together, Allen (Natalie) Miller or Colorado Springs, Debra (Bob) McAndrew of Larkspur, CO, Joan (Michael) Koltak of Fort Collins, and Mark (Yvonne) Miller of Omaha, NE. They also have six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Retta was a devoted mother that worked numerous jobs while raising her children, which included 15 years as a reservationist for Marriott central call center. She never met a stranger, her willingness to help others along with her love and caring heart touched many, and is remembered by all.
She attended Foothills Baptist Church in Loveland. Retta loved being with her family, and her dog Tina.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafts, playing games, camping in her earlier years, and traveling as well.
Retta always had a smile on her face. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.
Retta is predeceased by her husband Darrel, and her three siblings: Lavone Maurice, Kay Stone, and
Dixie Zulkowski.
Services will be held at Foothills Baptist Church in Loveland, on Friday the 30th of July at 2:00pm MDT.
