Robert “Bob” Adrian Benedict, 88, of Loveland, Colorado died February 14, 2023.
Bob was born to Theodore and Theresa Benedict in Cedar Grove, New Jersey in 1935. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1957. He spent the next 20 plus years working for various companies in the aerospace industry in New York and Connecticut.
Bob was an accomplished flutist. He learned to play as a child in New Jersey and played in several orchestras, including The Norwalk, Stamford and Ridgefield Symphonies in Connecticut and the Loveland Symphony in Colorado. He also taught and repaired flutes.
Bob was a skilled painter, a collector of rare books, an avid reader, and a DNA researcher.
Bob is survived by his wife Janice, his sister Barbara (Noel), his children Christine, Bob (Chris) and Tom, his step-children Gayle, Lauren (Wade) and Chris. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Cremation has been completed. Private services will be held at a later date.
