June 25, 1946 - November 28, 2022

The family of Robert Anthony Mulvihill sadly announce the passing of their husband, dad and grandpa.  Robert ‘Bob’ passed away at home on November 28, 2022. The youngest of 4 boys, he was born June 25, 1946 to Charles and Dorothy Mulvihill in Newark, New Jersey. Having always had a love of words and desire for education, he achieved a lifelong dream of receiving his Juris Doctorate at the age of 40, after having spent many years in the mental health profession. He was an attorney of good standing for 20 years prior to retirement. Having accomplished many things in his life, he was most proud of this. He was also proud of his ability to love and care for his family. He was able to build his own house with his own hands, fix his own cars and earned the rank of Black Belt in the martial art of Aikido. He was a man of many talents, always studying and learning new things.

Bob is survived by his wife, Lela Mulvihill of Loveland, son James Mulvihill of North Carolina, daughter Kelly Garcia-Lee and her husband Fong Lee of Arvada, grandchildren, Chloe Mulvihill of North Carolina, Quinn Lee and Esai Lee of Arvada, and best friend of 66 years, James Dunn of South Carolina. These are the people he loved and cherished most dearly.

While we all mourn the passing of Bob, there will be no service. However, we will be inviting family and friends to an event remembering his life at the beginning of the new year. Details will come at a later date.
