Robert “Dean” Kilker, passed away at Sunrise at Westminster on April 2, 2023 after a courageous 7 year battle with Parkinson’s Disease, at the age of 76.

He was born in Denver, CO on August 16, 1946, and was preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Pauline Kilker, twin brother Leonard Kilker (and wife Vicki), cousin Bob Kilker, niece Teri Holden, father-in-law Ted J. Piekenbrock, and brother-in-law Ted E. Piekenbrock.

Dean is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy Piekenbrock Kilker, sister Kay Uran (Chuck) of Broomfield, CO, nephew Lynn (Paula) of WA, niece Kris (Adam) of FL, Sister-in-law Deb Mertens (Darrel) of Sterling, CO, Brother-in-law Tom Piekenbrock (Michelle) of Longmont, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dean graduated from Lafayette High School in 1964, and attended Barnes Business School in Denver, Western State College in Gunnison and CSU in Fort Collins. He enlisted in the Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1970.

The family will have a brief service on Thursday, April 14, at 11:00am in the Louisville Cemetery.
